Alvechurch Village Hall
The Village Society hold most of our meetings in Alvechurch Village Hall. This is on Bear Hill in the centre of the village and is heavily used for a wide variety of activities from playgroups to dog training sessions.
The door at the uphill end of the building leads to the main hall with a stage and kitchen. Another door in the gable end at the other end of the hall leads to the smaller Committee Room and another small kitchen. The hall has recently been refurbished. Click here for details.
As you can see, the parking in front of the hall is limited but there is another car park off Tanyard Lane behind the hall. The hall's postcode is B48 7JX (map) and this will lead you to the front door of the hall on Bear Hill. If you are following a SatNav then go to B48 7LN instead. This will take you into Tanyard Lane where there is a large free car park. The entry is behind the Red Lion and opposite the old school site which is becoming a housing estate at the moment (2011).
Phone 0121 447 7382 or email Buddybaker@tiscali.co.uk if you'd like more information about the Hall or if you want to book either of these rooms. As a guide, the main hall costs £20 an hour with a minimum hire of three hours.
The Alvechurch Village Society have no formal connection with the village hall but we are happy to support a valuable local resource by advertising the hall here.
